Lake House
RESIDENCE in Monterey, MA
Featured In New England Home
A new construction lakefront compound on five acres in Monterey, made up of a main house, a pool and guest house, a boat house, and a potting studio for a multi-generational family.
Gable-roofed volumes recall the collected structures of a New England farm, with a cathedral ceiling rising more than 27 feet over the great room and a 26-foot mezzanine above the living space.
Raw steel posts, custom steel stair rails, and a hot-rolled steel chimney wrap sit alongside a floating white oak stair with underlit treads, taupe-finished European oak floors, and oversized windows. The project was featured in New England Home.
